Mountains, Towns, Gardens and the House

Outline
The interior of the existing house was renovated and a new outdoor staircase was inserted to connect the garden to the main room on the second floor. The outdoor staircase is separated into a handrail and a tread, and the handrail functions as a boundary wall between the garden and the house. The site is located on the mountain side of a valley, and the difference in level between the front road and the site is approximately 2.3m.
