House in Kanoya
Kenji Yoshitake Architect Office
- Outline
- The house is composed of two volumes, the "front" consisting of the entrance, living room, dining room, and kitchen, and the "rear" consisting of two bedrooms and a water closet. "A distinctive façade is created by the repetition of the three-foot-wide openings in the "front" and the one-foot-wide exterior walls and fittings in the "nakae. The height of the eaves and the height of the openings are aligned to create a horizontal expanse.
