- A 40-year-old farmhouse in a mixed farming and residential area of Hokkaido, Japan, was converted into a house with insulation and structural reinforcement. A polycarbonate exterior wall was added to the gable end of the house to create a common space that functions as an agricultural house, a windbreak, and an access space.
