- This house is located in Asakusa, where the atmosphere of the downtown area still remains, and has a work space for each of the owner and his wife. The old-fashioned alley scene that can be seen in the surrounding alleys, where things and people's behavior overflow beyond the boundaries of the site, is also referenced in the stairwell that runs through the center of the house, creating a place where the alleyways of the city extend vertically to the interior of the building.
