Recollection of the Topography
Kazuhiko Kishimoto/acaa
- Outline
- This is a house with two buildings across a garden. The garden was made to undulate like a hill using the soil left over from the construction. The edge of the garden of the parent and child households is placed at a level difference of about 1,300mm. In addition to creating a moderate distance due to the topography, it protects privacy from the surroundings by hiding the line of sight, and creates a depth that makes it impossible to see beyond the approach.
