Hirairi in Magome

Outline
This is a house with red jolipad exterior walls in an environment where detached houses, condominiums, and parking lots built in various eras stand side by side. It has a hirairi roof, which is typical of traditional machiya houses. The owner participates in painting the plaster on the walls, and the ceiling height is extended to 1.5 times the normal floor height to create a system that allows for floor expansion. Tokyo Gumi
