House in Kikukawa

Outline
This is a three-story wooden house located in a semi-industrial area of Tokyo on a long, narrow site with a frontage of 4 meters and a depth of 19 meters. Because of the soft ground, the house is a three-story wooden structure with a semi-fireproof design to reduce its weight and to reveal the wooden structure inside. Various living spaces with different finishes are connected by skip floors. Ogawa Construction / Kensuke Takiguchi / Moving Ball Studio
