House in Yuzurihayama

Outline
The site is located in a residential area carved out of the hillside of Mount Joha, overlooking the Rokko Mountains to the northeast and the Osaka Plain to the southwest. In order to avoid neighboring houses and to obtain a view to the surroundings, the house is placed at a 17 degree angle to the shape of the site. The experience of moving diagonally through the space creates a complex experience within a simple composition.
