The Depth of Yoyogi

Outline
Renovation of a 21-year-old wooden house built in an area where there are vestiges of lumber and hardware stores and where many craftsmen lived after the war. The walls, floor and ceiling of the rooms facing the street were partially dismantled in order to create an open space for various uses such as a garage or shop. Scale manipulation and painting were applied to expand the existing finished surface.
