- Four boxes, each 1, 820 mm wide, are placed in parallel, and their volumes and the positions of their openings create a variety of interior spaces. The openings are placed in various positions to take in the nearby greenery and the scenery around Lake Biwa that spreads out in front of the house, while blocking the view from the surrounding houses.
