House in Daizawa

Outline
This project is the reconstruction of a medical clinic and a residential house which has been operating in this land for three generations. Located on a corner lot in a gently sloping residential area, the first floor is used for the clinic and the basement and second floors for the residence, with separate entrances for the clinic (west side) and the residence (south side). The entrance to the clinic (on the west side) and the residence (on the south side) are separated, and the clinic and residence are wrapped in a single wall of concrete and grooved glass, creating a comfortable boundary with the surrounding environment.
