House in Shimoda

Outline
The building is located in a residential area of a regional city. Taking advantage of the site's northwest exposure, a semi-outdoor space is created on the northwest side of the second floor, connected to the living room, and furnished around the windows. The floor and roof of the terrace are covered with aodamo trees. In the garden, red pine trees are used as the main tree species and other trees are combined to create a forest-like space in the residential area.
