U House

Outline
In order to reduce the sense of oppression to the streetscape, two layers of wooden structure are placed on the concrete base. The living room is an asymmetrical gabled space composed of a slope that allows light to enter the garden and a ridge line that prevents the surface from twisting. A variety of spaces are created by combining materials and spatial proportions.
