House in Yoshii

Outline
A shed that was used as a firewood storage and workshop was renovated as a house. The existing stone wall piled up by the previous generation is brought into the room through the glass, and the landscape is utilized in the location where a vast field spreads out. Traces of the removed beams were retained throughout the design, and new columns and beams were installed to reinforce the structure.
