This is a two-family house built in the suburbs of Saitama Prefecture. The building is placed in the center of the site, and a total of twelve 2-meter square double-hung sash windows are symmetrically placed on the four elevations. The upper and lower floors are of the same height, and the large one-room space is divided three-dimensionally by placing the water closet above and below the stairwell that extends longitudinally from the entrance.
