Kawamata Yuinoie

Outline
This wooden house has a large, single-flowing roof that blends in with the ridge of a small mountain on the west side of the site. The living room and the second floor are connected like one room from the large entrance hall with a wood stove. The flow of wind is designed so that cool breezes are taken in through the gash windows of the kitchen door on the north side and ground windows, and warm air is discharged through the high windows on the second floor.
