Outline
The house is a renovation of a storehouse and a barn for agricultural work of an old house located in Matsugasaki district, Rakuhoku, Kyoto. In the space under the eaves of the house, which is about 2m deep, a glass box with a frame made of Bay pine is installed as the entrance. Inside, the living room and dining room are vaulted spaces with a maximum height of 4,400mm, revealing the pillars and beams.
