House in Tendai

Outline
"In response to the owner's request not to let in direct light, the building was designed with the theme of a living space that is not too bright. The light garden, created by dividing the volume, functions as a vertical slit for ventilation and lighting. In addition, the roof is raised slightly above the volume to create a high side light, which is used as a horizontal slit to spread indirect light through the ceiling to the entire room.
