Kokura Tanaka House

Outline
The site was surrounded by neighboring houses and block walls, which created a sense of blockage. With the agreement of the neighbors, we painted the block wall white and made it a "borrowed wall", and also made the house itself of block construction to turn the location into a plus. In addition, the cross-shaped plan derived from the shape of the site makes the relationship between the rooms and the garden at the four corners closer, and the single-story building ensures ventilation and lighting for the neighborhood.
