HACHIOJI Tree house
TSUYOSHI ANDO/AIRSCAPE ARCHITECTS STUDIO KAZUKI OHTOMO/TORINOSU
- Outline
- In the midst of a changing environment, such as the construction of high-rise condominiums in a commercial district, the residence is designed to have a relationship with the outside while being appropriately closed off. The living spaces connected by corridors are arranged alternately with the trees in the courtyard, and the exterior wall itself is designed to resemble a grove of trees. The exterior wall itself is also designed to resemble a grove. Light reminiscent of the sun shining through the trees shines through the slits, and the changes in the height direction and the lighting plan create a space that resembles the inside of a grove.
