Outline: The house is built on a flagpole site with a long alley space. With the greenery of the park as a borrowed landscape, the alley space and its limited extension are used to create a semi-courtyard that resembles the open-air space of a tearoom. A roofed wall on the border with the neighboring house and fixed lattice windows add depth to the view from inside.
