Double Tube
Shunichi Ozawa+Atsuko Ozawa/ ozawa design
- Outline
- Built on a sloping site, this house is a combination of two different types of tubes, one reinforced concrete and the other steel. Each tube shares the same living and working space, but is separated. At the same time, it is intended to evoke an awareness of "nature" by incorporating simple openings to take in open views and design techniques such as gravity ventilation and solar radiation control.
