Ammonoidea House
Toshihito Yokouchi Architect & Associates
- Outline
- This villa is located on a flat land surrounded by a forest. Taking a hint from the owner's hobby of collecting ammonites, the intention was to create a strong architecture with a solid center and a sense of order that would be a source of strength against the harsh natural environment while incorporating nature. The floor of each room spirals up 75cm around the large fireplace in the atrium.
