G House
studio A/Kei Morozumi
- Outline
- Taking advantage of the difference in level and elevation of approximately 2.5 m from the road and 1.8 m within the site, the building is placed as it is with its undulations. The volume on the road side is an RC box that serves as an earthen retaining wall, and a wooden building is built on top of it. The opening to the open direction becomes large, and the continuity with the ground surface and the detail are beautifully arranged.
