- Outline
- L-□ | This is the first building in the aluminum house project, which aims to create an indoor environment with aluminum rings that serve as both a structure and a heat sink. Although it is not yet an aluminum structure, it is functioning as a radiator. The heat from the under-floor heater (PS Industry) is transferred to the aluminum rings, and the radiant heat from the aluminum walls, floor, and ceiling is used for heating. | This is the second building in the aluminum house project, which aims to create an indoor environment with aluminum rings that serve as both structure and heat radiator. Although it is not yet an aluminum structure, the two-story-high aluminum ring placed in the atrium functions as a radiator. The architectural form, with its curved surfaces and three-directional openings made of two-by-two wood, was designed to resemble an eda coral. | A-ring | This house is the culmination of the "Aluminum House Project," which aims to create a house with zero running costs by using aluminum alloy as the structure and heat sink. The "aluminum ring" is introduced to combine structure, heating and cooling systems, lighting fixtures, equipment space, and function. In addition to the ring, the columns and beams are also made of aluminum, and everything in the house except the basement is made of aluminum alloy.
