Outline
This is a house in a residential area of Tokyo with a fair-faced RC exterior wall with drainage. The volumes are arranged diagonally to create an exterior garden as a parking space on the north side and a private interior garden on the south side. The interior is a single room with herringbone flooring, walls, and ceiling. The strong geometric directionality of the exterior is weakened.
