A-house
Hiroyuki Fukuyama/ Fukuyama Architects
- Outline
- This is a shell-like house built on a corner lot facing an intersection as a large polyhedron with a full floor area ratio. The exterior walls and roof are made of three different colors of aluminum foam resin composite plates to divide each surface, and open joints are made to float above the water surface to eliminate rain gutters. The interior consists of three levels: two bedrooms on the first floor, a single room LDK on the second floor, and a loop terrace on the third floor to keep the volume intact. The two large openings on the street side are divided by a diagonal slope, and one opening is divided into triangular windows. Each triangular window is a high window for the first floor, and a ground window for the second floor, so that the composition belonging to different floors can be seen.
