NEW SMALL SHRINE IN BENTEN-GU
bookmark_outline
YUKI ISHIGURO ARCHITECTS
Outline
It is a small shrine dedicated to the priests and ancestors of Bentengu, located in a residential area. The shrine is built in the Shinmei-zukuri style, with a copper-plate roof and a white wooden body. The roof is made of copper plate, and the main body is made of white wood. When you visit the shrine, you can feel the place created by the inside and the outside, even if you cannot enter the shrine, and this creates a sense of unity between people and the shrine that goes beyond the concept of architecture.
