MOO ARCHITECT WORKSHOP
Outline
The building was designed as a "certified children's school" integrating a kindergarten and a nursery school. The school is arranged in a U-shape, with all three buildings connected to each other, avoiding the garden and existing trees. In 2007, the first phase of the project, the two-story wooden building "Minami-Fu-Tei" was constructed, and in 2009, the four-story steel-frame building "Kaze no Mun" was constructed. In the second phase, the ground floor of Nanfutei was converted from a playroom to a pilotis, and together with the meandering exterior corridor of Kaze no Mundo, the semi-outdoor space resembling a veranda functions as a hangout for children.
