DAI NAGASAKA / MEGASHUNSAKU MIYAGI(PLACEMEDIA)
Outline
This is the studio of landscape architect Shunsaku Miyagi, located near Byodoin Temple. On the east side, the building is slightly raised above the ground so that the view of Byodoin Temple and the mountain ridges can be seen through the wall. On the other hand, on the west side (approach side), there is a ground window, and in the front yard, there are mountain cherry trees in the field of sasa planted in the shape of a plane, and an extension step made of old wood is laid. The contrast between the distant and near views is created on the east and west sides.
