In order to create depth within the small area of 9 tsubo, the plan stacks spaces vertically to create various places to live. The bedrooms are housed in the basement, and the ground level is a two-story wooden structure with a loft. An axial fan is installed to send cool air from the basement to the upper floor in summer, and warm air from the upper floor to the basement under the floor in winter.
