STONE TERRACE
KAZUHIDE DOI ARCHITECTS
- Outline
- A part of terraced rice field was renovated and turned into a residence. By placing the rectangular house on the topography of the terraced paddy field, a tiered courtyard that lets in light, a water garden that cuts the landscape horizontally, and a wind that blows as it rises from north to south are created between the house and the existing topography of the farmland.
