Outline
This is a renovation of a very ordinary house from the middle of the Showa period. The exterior was left untouched, and a 2.7 x 2.7 x 5.4m high box (stairwell) was inserted inside, with a white abstract space inside, and spaces of various qualities surrounding it. The rooms, which were originally divided into small sections, are integrated through this void. The structural materials that appeared at that time are finished as openwork.
