Outline
This is a special house for permanent residence built in a villa area about 500m from the paved road into the forest. In designing the house, it was decided not to cut down even a single tree in the forest. The theme here is a life at one with nature, and the house is distinctly different from one for viewing nature. The central part of the house contains the main living areas such as the LDK. This area is two stories high and half-roofed. Three small private spaces are distributed in the large central space. This is structurally effective, and the front of the large space has no sleeve walls and can be fully opened. In spite of the large space, it was possible to use the usual 4" square post material.
