House at Sakudaira

Outline
The house faces a wide riverside and is seen from a hill. The open south side of the house is fully sash-less and open, with deep eaves and eaves to control the way light enters the house in summer and winter. The terrace has doors that open and close at both ends to regulate the flow of air.
