- The zurich international airport complex, which includes commercial facilities, galleries, a convention hall, a hotel, offices, educational facilities, and a hospital, was selected through an international competition in 2010 and includes not only the architecture but also the transportation infrastructure. with a site area of 35,000 m2 and a total floor area of 255,570 m2, it is the largest building in switzerland.
