- a 9-story residential complex with the upper 4 stories constructed of wood and the lower 5 stories constructed of reinforced concrete. this is a demonstration of the research conducted by starts cam and mr. satoshi kato in their joint development project. the project is a 9-story reinforced concrete structure with seismic isolation at a construction cost equivalent to that of an earthquake-resistant structure.
