TOKYO INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY LIBRARY

Outline
This is a three-story library with two basement floors on the Ookayama campus. In order to secure the open space in front of the main gate and to protect the materials from the sunlight, the library was planned to be placed underground. A part of the library is built on the ground as a study building. The plaza connects the approach from the station with the promenade in front of the main building. The basement floor is one large room.
