MUROMACHI HIGASHI MITSUI BUILDING / COREDO MUROMACHI

Outline
District B of the Nihonbashi Muromachi East Area Development Plan. Located across Chuo-dori Street from the Mitsui Main Building, the facade design follows that of the Mitsui Main Building. The exterior design is by Norihiko Dan. The large windows on the Chuo-dori side of the building are decorated with "Oedo weaving machines. The street shops on the first floor create a lively atmosphere in the town. The street shops on the first floor create a bustling atmosphere in the district, and are lined with shops that have been operating in the Nihonbashi area for a long time, such as Kiya, a knife shop, and Ninben, a long-established dried bonito flakes shop.
