- The second phase of the Urban Renaissance Agency's reconstruction of Akabanedai Danchi, completed in 1962, is designed by NASCA + Spatial Research Institute + Nitto Corporation (Buildings 3 and 4 [B1 block]), Ichiura + CAt Design (Building 5 [B2 block]), and Yamamoto Hori Architects + Minobe Sekkei (Buildings 6 and 7 [C block]). Construction is scheduled to be completed in July 2010.
