An elementary school in Kobe City. The school has "green passages" on the north and south sides, which allow the prevailing wind from the south to pass through. Light shelves and awnings are installed on the south side of the school building, allowing southern breezes to enter without drawing curtains in summer and light to penetrate deep into the classrooms in winter. In addition, there is a "wind path" that folds up the ceiling of the corridor, a "wind tube" that sends hot air to the roof for gravitational ventilation, and a "wind tower" that promotes natural ventilation through the Venturi effect, naturally cooling the building frame in summer.
