House in Takeshima

This house was commissioned by the builder who was impressed by the former Fusaichiro Inoue residence, a copy of Antonin Raymond's own residence. The office building has a shed structure with the cane open in the direction of the girder, and the ascending beams and columns are displaced. The frontage of the street garden between the office building and the residential building is modeled after the terrace of Raymond's own residence.
