Ushimado Atelier

Outline
This steel-framed one-story house is located on a sloping site with terraced fields and an open view. The exterior walls are finished with burnt cedar and have a deep eave of 2,400mm. The living room, atelier, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom are connected by a 6,000mm high ceiling to form a single room with two openings: a continuous sweeping window 2.3m high with a span of 22m, and a continuous high window 1.2m high with a span of 1.8m.
