- In response to growing inbound tourism demand and in preparation for the 2025 Osaka-Kansai World Expo, the redevelopment plan for Kansai International Airport’s Terminal 1—which began in 2018—was implemented in phases while maintaining the airport’s operations. At the time of completion, Obayashi Corporation was responsible for construction in the North Construction Zone.
