Outline: The first and second floors, which feature a reinforced concrete primary structure, house six residential units, while the third floor accommodates the owner’s wooden residence. The building is positioned in the center of the lot—which has a building coverage ratio of 50 percent—with the entrances and balconies of each unit facing north. A “community gathering space”—formed by a break in the building’s volume—extends toward the south. A bay window for the owner’s unit was also positioned to overlook the common areas.
