RIA / RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTURE
- Outline
- The aging town hall in Kumenami Town (population approximately 4,000) was rebuilt and relocated on the same site, along with the adjacent community center. It is a two-story building constructed with a combination of steel and wood, with a maximum height of 11,340 mm. The functions of the town hall, town assembly, and community center are arranged in a U-shape, with a grassy plaza in the center. The single-slope roofs are staggered to harmonize with the surrounding buildings.
