- An exhibition was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the "International Exposition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts" (commonly known as the Art Deco Exposition) held in 1925. The exhibition was designed to focus on the former Asakamiya Palace, the museum's architecture.
