KUROYANAGI TETSUKO MUSEUM

Outline: This museum exhibits artworks that Tetsuko Kuroyanagi has collected over the years, items given to her by benefactors and friends, and costumes she has worn on various occasions. The external shape of the building was determined using the shape of the site and the axis line toward Mount Asama, along which several thin roofs were erected. The roof is constructed of wood using conventional construction methods.
