- The classrooms are organically connected in a forested vacant lot, and the learning environment and the external environment are connected by a spiral planar structure that is based on the Maasai dwelling and a "living wall" of transparent polycarbonate between the soil and fallen leaves. The reuse of demolished materials and local participation in the construction of the building, in spite of its 10-year temporary nature and $250/m2 condition, connect nature, learning, and community, and turn cost and speed into reality.
