World Trade Center

Outline
Reconstruction of the World Trade Center (WTC), which collapsed on 9/11. Based on the master plan by Daniel Libeskind, the towers surrounding Memorial Park are arranged in a spiral shape, gradually rising in height. Photo taken in 2014. The 541-meter-high WTC1 (left photo) has a kaleidoscopic expression that changes with the exterior wall surface connecting the cubic base and the central octagonal plane, while WTC4 (right photo) has a minimalist sculptural expression with a different plan for the low-rise and high-rise sections and highly reflective silver glass, creating a calm and graceful appearance. The building has a calm and graceful appearance.
